Contexting Pune: Micro-residency 2018

TIFA Working Studios invites Pune based practitioners for a week-long micro-residency programme to build projects and narratives on ‘city as the context’, to be held from 7th-13th May 2018.

This program is dedicated for, but not limited to, artists, photographers, writers, filmmakers, performing artists, poets, dancers, architects, designers, illustrators, academics, cartographers, book-makers, anthropologists, activists and researchers.

The residency aims to re-reading of history and anthropological survey to help understand the contemporary context better.

Submissions may include:
 Interactive projects for citizen engagement
 An ethnographic and anthropological understanding of the city
 Community-based projects encapsulating Pune’s identity or people
 Remapping the city through historical inquiry
 Articulating the transfiguration of the city’s landscape and planning
